I wanted to capture the personalities of the Arizona lovebird in their natural habitat. These two look like they might be feuding, but in my next painting, they kiss and make up. I created this series of 3 mixed media paintings using paper and paint. I love the texture and colors. Each of the 3 paintings measures 10" x 10" x 1" and is created on cradled gesso board. No frame is needed and they are ready to fly to their forever homes.
