I wanted to capture the personalities of the Arizona lovebird in their natural habitat. Lovebirds hang in pairs, so this poor guy is the Odd Man Out. I created this series of 3 mixed media paintings using paper and paint. I love the texture and colors. Each of the 3 paintings measures 10" x 10" x 1" and is created on cradled gesso board. No frame is needed and they are ready to fly to their forever homes.
