On a recent trip to the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens, I was struck by the beauty of this lone blossom surrounded by buds that had not yet bloomed. It was such a striking red against the green paddles I had to paint it. This oil painting measures 10" x 8" x .25" and will fit in most standard frames.
